Welcome to the BCSC Technology Department

The Benton Community School Corporation is a 1:1 district, which means that there is one device for every student. The device used by BCSC is the Google Chromebook. Students in grades K-2 keep their school-issued devices at school. Students in grades 3-12 take their school-issued devices home each night. The students must bring their school-issued devices back to school the next day. Additionally, students in grades 7-12 can keep their devices throughout the summer to provide more learning opportunities.

PROTECT YOUR SCHOOL-ISSUED DEVICE TODAY

    • Benton Central Jr. Sr. High School students should initially discuss issues with their teachers. If the problem cannot be resolved, students should submit a "student help desk ticket" before going to the Student Services office.

    • Otterbein Elementary and Prairie Crossing Elementary students should talk to their teachers, who will then send a "help desk ticket" to the technology department regarding the issue.
  • Students and Parents/Guardians can send a detailed email to techteam@benton.k12.in.us to create a "help desk ticket". When you send a detailed email to our technology department about an issue with your school-issued device, it will be entered into the technology department's "help desk" queue, alerting our technicians. You will receive updates until the issue has been resolved.

  • Please call 765-884-1600 at extension 1131. Note: If you reach the voicemail, please leave a detailed message, and we will get back to you as soon as possible during school hours.
