    Please see the information below from the Food Service Department for the 2024-2025 school year.

     

    MENUS: 

    • The menus for the 2024-2025 school year are on our school corporation website under MENUS.
      • Menus may change based on product availability and will be updated on the live document menus.
      • ​We are also working toward introducing new menu items this year. Stay tuned!
    • Our schools implement Offer vs. Serve.  Visit the links below for more information. 

     

    MEAL PRICES 2024-2025: 

    • Breakfast:
      • Student Breakfast price: $2.20 daily / $11.00 weekly, Reduced meal price .30 / $1.50 weekly
    • Lunch:
      • Elementary Student Lunches $3.25 daily / 16.25 weekly, Reduced meal price .40 / $2.00 weekly
      • Jr. & Sr, High Students Lunches 3.50 daily / 17.50 weekly, Reduced meal price .40/ $2.00 weekly
    • After School Program Snack:
      • After-School Program Snack: There will not be a charge for the snack provided at ASP for the 24-25 school year.
    • Ala Carte Items:
      • Ala Carte item pricing will vary based on the item. Each school will have a complete list of ala carte prices.

     

    FREE OR REDUCED MEAL BENEFIT INFORMATION: 

    • Current eligibility benefits will only carry over for up to 30 operating days (September 25, 2024). If you believe your child(ren) should continue to receive meal benefits, please complete a meal benefit application and return it to the food service office no later than the 30-day carry-over date listed on the application to avoid paid lunch charges. Online applications can be accessed in your Harmony Family Access profile.  Paper applications can be picked up at the school office.
    • If your student did not receive free or reduced-priced meal benefits and you would like to apply to see if you qualify, please complete a meal benefit application and return it to the food service office. Online applications can be accessed in the Harmony Family Access profile. Paper applications can be picked up at the school office.

  • Wellness Policy

    Benton Community School Corporation has developed a Wellness Policy per the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 requirement.

    A wellness policy is a plan to emphasize and support healthy choices at the school. The policy also requires specific information to be included within the wellness policy to ensure that it is focused on improving the health of students.

    The policy was developed by the Wellness Policy Commitee that can include teachers, parents, administrators, nursing staff, students, and community members. If you would like to participate, please contact us.

    BCSC is offering summer meals for all kids, 18 and under, free of charge. Meals will be offered to the public at the following locations during the dates and times listed through the summer:

     

    JUNE DATES:

    Prairie Crossing Elementary

    June 2nd- June 12th

    Monday - Thursday

    Breakfast: 7:45am-8:15am

    Lunch 11:30am-12:00pm

     

    Benton Central Jr. - Sr. High School

    June 2nd- June 26th

    Monday - Thursday

    Breakfast: 7:45am-8:15am

    Lunch 11:30am-12:00pm
